Dianne Libed

I came from the Philippines and immigrated here to the United States in March 2010. At the time I was reading Rick Warren’s book “The Purpose Driven Life,” and after reading this book, I realized that I had a purpose here on earth, but didn’t know what it was. I searched for faith-based organizations in need of volunteers and started volunteering with KCCD. I loved it right away, and I saw that KCCD really cared for others and wanted to make a change. The best thing I can say about KCCD is that they are God-driven. Being with the great staff and offering services to the people in need helped me realized that my work at KCCD was a step in fulfilling my purpose here on earth.
