Lighting the Community Conference

Over the last nine years, KCCD has transformed lives and communities through its strategic partnerships, culturally and linguistically sensitive approach, capacity building, and by mobilizing the resources of the Korean faith-based community to serve the greater community. In order to expand the capacities of nonprofits nationwide, KCCD has hosted five national Lighting the Community Conferences and conducted trainings at numerous national conferences which have helped to train over 3,000 nonprofit organizations and leaders, providing them with the capacity building, technical workshops, grant writing expertise, and leadership development necessary to make positive impacts on their communities.
